Our Story

GPS was born from lived experience.

As a lifelong educator and school leader, Akiya Maston recognized a consistent need: girls navigating adolescence often lack structured emotional guidance and affirming mentorship.

What began as a personal commitment to support young girls evolved into a scalable empowerment movement.

GPS stands for more than guidance — it represents growth, purpose, and strength.
