Hi! I’m Akiya Maston—a K-8 Principal, award-winning author, and Middle School Development Specialist with over 20 years of experience at the heart of education. My mission with GPS is simple yet transformative: to help girls ages 10–14 reclaim their uniqueness and lead with unshakable confidence. Having navigated thousands of student and family interactions, I founded GPS as a scalable movement to bridge the gap between home and school. I’m honored to be charting this path to success alongside our middle school girls with our GPS Digital Empowerment Series.
